Editors, authors, and reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of all details regarding the editorial and peer-review process for submitted manuscripts. The peer-review process is confidential and conducted anonymously. Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts. If a reviewer wishes to seek advice from colleagues while evaluating a manuscript, they must consult with the editor and ensure that confidentiality is maintained and that the names of such colleagues are provided to the journal with the final report. Regardless of whether a submitted manuscript is ultimately published, correspondence with the journal, reviewers’ opinions, reports, and other confidential material must not be published, disclosed, or otherwise made public without prior written consent. Reviewers should be aware that our policy is to keep their names confidential and that we do everything possible to ensure this confidentiality. However, we cannot guarantee confidentiality in the face of a successful legal action to disclose their identity.

The journal Perspctives in Intelligence reserves the right to contact funders, regulatory bodies, journals, and the authors’ institutions in cases of suspected research or publication misconduct.

In accordance with Statutory Law 1581 of 2012 on Data Protection and related regulations of the Republic of Colombia, the author of each article is hereby informed that, by voluntarily providing and registering their data through the channels provided on the Website, they authorize the inclusion of such data in a database maintained by the Journal, which will be processed exclusively for the editorial purposes of the publication. The names and email addresses entered in this journal will be used exclusively for the purposes set forth herein and will not be provided to third parties or used for any other purposes.
